CTO membership and Chapter membership are two different entities.  Membership in one does not imply membership in the other.  Each category of membership must be applied for and obtained separately upon payment of separate membership dues.

 

1.       CTO Membership

 

A CTO member is any government, company or individual who provides goods or services to the Caribbean region and pays annual dues to the CTO parent organization.  Membership in CTO is on a company basis except in the cases such as independent travel writers, educators and other freelance operators to whom individual membership applies.

 

2.       Chapter Membership

 

A Chapter member is any dues paying member of the Chapter recruited from tourism industry companies with a common interest in developing and promoting travel to and within the Caribbean region.  Membership in CTO Chapters is on an individual basis.
